It’s 2019 and I did not set one single resolution for myself. The reason? Because I don’t want to do something trendy. If I want to make a positive change in my life, I am not going to do it short term, give up on it, or set myself up for failure with added expectations.
My personal goals are not just for this year, but all years to come. I am facing a 90 day fitness challenge that I will seek transformative emotional and physical results from, and then I’ll keep going.
I have always taken very good care of my body with healthy and primarily organic foods, however, I did get off track for a bit due to not working for a few months and not being able to purchase all the purest foods the way I once had.
Today though- while running errands I happened upon a new restaurant that is everything I dream of eating. It’s called CoreLife Eatery and it rocked my world. It’s much of the very healthy food I love in one spot. It’s an aesthetically pleasing, motivating and happy place to get your food and puts every fast food and big chain restaurant to shame. Needless to say, I enjoyed a phenomenal meal- Poke Tuna Fire Bowl and left there energized, and feeling better about myself already.
I want a kitchen stocked exactly as CoreLife was – fresh foods and sauces at the ready. It’s set up beautifully. I would love to prep and serve foods like this to those I love all day long. (Strong chance I may have missed my calling as a chef!!)
I look forward to my transformation back to healthy little ‘ole me. And then, I look forward to staying that way forever so I can keep up with my boys and life!!
While I prefer to prep and cook all my own fresh and chemical free foods- I have to admit that I see myself frequenting CoreLife for speedy, healthier food in between.
Here’s to 2019, 2020, 2021…
Happy everything to all!
